Meeting Agenda 

 

  1. Welcome from Chairman.  

  1. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting.  

  1. To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation. 

  1. Notes previously circulated from June 23rd 2022 meeting – to resolve as correct record of meeting. 

  1. Reports from County Councillor & District Councillors if in attendance. 

  1. To discuss the possibility of starting a Council run youth group to encourage/promote use of the field and facilities. Cllr Bowen; Sarah +  

  1. Finances - to approve future and retrospective payments and note income received by Council as listed for July 2022 details with Councillors including current balances at bank.  

  1. Review - Standing orders  

  1. Review – Financial regulations  

  1. To consider adopting the new LGA code of conduct adopted by East Lindsey in May 2022 

  1. Planning applications- S/035/00793/22 – 30 Old Boston Rd, fencing Full Planning granted.  

  1. Welby group meeting – agreement to meet with 3 Councillors, date time to be arranged. 

  1. War Memorial Gardens – ideas have been put forward to utilise the redundant tunnel (removed from the play area) cut into three pieces to form planters for this area, with the gardens being removed and a stoned area formed with round slabs with words of remembrance engraved on them placed in the stones (possibly fixed)  

  1. Burial walk – Proposal to get employees trained/ qualified to use pesticides with Knap sac sprayers – costs to follow as soon as received, earliest opportunity is September 22. Other general maintenance jobs highlighted; these will be allocated and carried out as a matter of course. Two trees to be removed, bench repaired, door painted.  

  1. Football Club meeting held 13th July – report to full council.  

  1. CCTV meeting held 6th July 

  1. Clerks report –  

  1. To resolve to move into closed session- Under the Public Bodies (admissions to meetings) Act 1960 and the Local Government Act 1972, ss 100 and 102
