April 2026 update
Community Update from Your Local Council
We are pleased to share the latest news and achievements from across our community.
This month has been a wonderful example of the dedication, spirit, and togetherness that make our area such a special place to live. From local initiatives to youth engagement, it’s inspiring to see so many residents contributing their time and energy.
Special Announcement – Youth Club Achievement
We are especially proud to recognise the outstanding efforts of our local Youth Club. Recently, the club presented eight Bronze Certificates to young members in recognition of their exceptional dedication, commitment, and positive contributions.
As pictured, these awards celebrate not only participation, but the enthusiasm, teamwork, and perseverance shown by each recipient. Their achievements are a testament to the supportive environment fostered by the Youth Club and the hard work of both members and leaders.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all those who received certificates—you are a credit to our community, and we look forward to seeing what you accomplish next.
Community Appreciation – Thank You to Our Wombles
The Council would also like to extend its sincere thanks to the Coningsby and Tattershall Wombles for attending the Thank You Breakfast held on 28th March.
This event provided a welcome opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible work carried out by the Wombles. Their continued dedication to keeping our parishes clean, tidy, and welcoming does not go unnoticed. Through all weather and throughout the year, their efforts make a real and lasting difference to the local environment and community pride.
We were extremely proud to see the next generation taking pride in their community, welcoming newcomers from Dandelions Day nursery and kids club who will be carrying out a weekly litter pick.
Looking Ahead
The council remains committed to supporting initiatives that bring people together and create opportunities for all ages. If you would like to get involved in local activities or learn more about upcoming events, please keep an eye on future updates.
Thank you for being part of our community.
