On Saturday 15th May Coningsby and Tattershall Branch of the Royal British Legion celebrated the centenary of the RBL with a short commemoration at Coningsby War Memorial. After a short speech by Councillor Donnellan who is also the Branch President outlining  a brief history of the Legion, wreaths were laid by the following people; Sandra Allis the branch chairperson and Warrant Officer Cox representing the RAF.

Also present was the branch standard presented by Standard Bearer Colin  Mair and Councillor Waites, Mal Emsden, and Ann Wilks.

The National Anthem was sung.
