Removal of Cemetery Adornments
Coningsby Town Council wishes to inform all families, visitors, and plot holders that a scheduled removal of adornments will take place on:
Date: 01.01.2026 for the month of January.
This cleanup is part of our regular maintenance to ensure the cemetery grounds remain safe, dignified, and well-kept. During this process, the following items will be removed and disposed of:
- Flowers (fresh or artificial) which are decayed
- Ornaments, decorations, and non-permanent fixtures, not on the base of the memorial stone.
- Items that are damaged, weathered, or deemed unsafe (including all glass items as these are not permitted)
- Any adornments that do not comply with cemetery regulations
We kindly request that families collect any items they wish to retain before the above date. After the cleanup begins, removed items will be kept in the cemetery chapel for 30 days and if not collected they will disposed of.
