Rules & Guidelines – Grounds
 
The Cemetery on Dogdyke Road Coningsby is owned and maintained by the Coningsby Town Council.
 
To help the Town Council keep the grave spaces and grounds well maintained and cared for there are a few rules which visitors to the Cemetery are asked to observe please.
 
1. Vehicles are not allowed in the Cemetery without prior consent of the Town Council.
2. Glass vases or pottery containers of any kind are not allowed because they can break and cause injury.
3. The removal of grass from a grave space is prohibited.
4. The planting of flowers/shrubs or bushes on or near a grave space is prohibited.
5. No other embellishments are allowed; all floral tributes must be placed on the footprint of the headstone /memorial no tributes of any kind on the grass. 
6. No additional vases or plant holders of any kind are allowed anywhere with the grave space. 
7. Young Children should be accompanied by adults when visiting the cemetery.
8. No dogs are allowed in the cemetery unless a guide dog with its owner.
9. All Christmas Wreaths will be removed and disposed of by the end of February. 
 
If you have any queries or problems with these rules please contact the Clerk to the Council at the Town Office which is situated in the Police Station on the Car Park. 
 
Please take note of these rules any items that are not allowed will be removed from the graves and placed in the Chapel building for you to collect by arrangement with the Clerk.
