Rules & Guidelines
The Cemetery on Dogdyke Road Coningsby is owned and maintained by the Coningsby Town Council.
To help the Town Council keep the grave spaces and grounds well maintained and cared for there are a few rules which visitors to the Cemetery are asked to observe please.
- Vehicles are not allowed in the Cemetery without prior consent of the Town Council.
- Glass vases or pottery containers of any kind are not allowed because they can break and cause injury.
- The removal of grass from a grave space is prohibited.
- The planting of flowers/shrubs or bushes on or near a grave space is prohibited.
- Metal or stone vases should be placed at the head of the grave only; no other embellishments are allowed; all floral tributes must be placed at the head of grave space only.
- Young Children should be accompanied by adults when visiting the cemetery.
- No dogs are allowed in the cemetery unless a guide dog with its owner.
If you have any queries or problems with these rules please contact the Clerk to the Council at the Town Office which is situated in the Police Station on the Car Park.
